Designing for community>>
A hub of creativity
and collaboration
UNRVLD mindset: people first. Always.
Appealing from client's values and product, ultimately, the design must put the needs of the users at the centre to create a specific and individual, yet functional work environment that facilitates improved concentration and collaboration.
UNRVLD office interior was inspired by brutal Berlin and it's colorful nightlife vibes. The synthesis of function and art creates an alternative workspace like no other, while acting as a state of art itself, beckons to stay and play.
Both floor plans are divided into volumes and circulation paths, alternating between closed spaces and freestanding elements. While 3rd floor being all about individual 'FOCUS' scenario, 4th has more social zones creating the opportunity for 'TEAMWORK' and 'INFORMAL MEETING' scenarios.
Closed rooms are situated at the core, while open workstation float around this centre, maintaining the panoramic city views and gathering light inward.
In an industry that is ever-changing, UNRVLD workspace needs to be rapidly and easily adaptable and support the brand's character as open and optimistic. Hence in 'ACADEMIA' lodging everything is on castors: from tables to whiteboards. Space is fully transformative for the flexibility of work and teams. Transformative just as UNRVLD.
The Vault, a simple meeting room sits behind a custom made pink glass phone booth and is backed by a steel imitation wall. In contrast to the largely open workspace it offers semi-privacy and quiet. Metalish curtains come in handy for those very private meetings.
A careful study was executed in order to explore possibilities of various light sources and their impact on the space and user. During daylight working zone is white and sterile accumulating concentration. However, a completely different character appears when the sun sets - the space lightens up in various colors just as Berlin's nightlife.
Atmospheric light spreading through thougthfully designed glass blocks, playful neon inscriptions on walls, colorful neon tubes, pink glass vault aka meeting room and illuminated photographs by Ignas Maldus - all of these become sources of light and functions as an emotional anchor to the space.
